The Florida Department of Transportation reports that up to two I-75 lanes in Alachua County closed will be closed nightly in each direction 8:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. Sunday through Thursday and 4:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m. Monday through Friday. Beginning Monday, May 9th through Friday, May 13th from 12:00 a.m. to 4:00 a.m. drivers traveling south will be detoured to Newberry Road (Exit 387) to S.W. 34th Street (State Road 121) to Archer Road (State Road 24) to Interstate 75 south. The Newberry Road (State Road 26) Interstate 75 southbound on-ramp will be closed. Drivers will be detoured to Tower Road, then to Archer Road (State Road 24), and finally to Interstate 75 south.
Nighttime lane closures from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. Sunday through Thursday and daytime lane closures from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday between the Columbia County line to north of U.S. 441 for resurfacing.
Nighttime lane closures from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. Sunday through Thursday and daytime lane closures from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday from northwest 39th Avenue (Exit 390) to north of U.S. 441 (Exit 399) in Alachua for resurfacing and guardrail installation.
Daytime inside lane closures from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday and daytime closure of the emergency lane and inside shoulder Monday through Friday from the Marion County line to Williston Road (Exit 382) for lighting work.
Daytime northbound closure of emergency lane north of Archer Road (State Road 24-Exit 384) to the Columbia County line to install pull boxes and mow pads.
