I-75 Construction Activity in Tennessee This Week

The Tennessee Department of Transportation reports the following construction activities on Interstate 75 this week:

Bradley County: I-75 grading, drainage, construction of retaining walls and paving at Exit 25 (State Route 60) interchange in Cleveland, including the installation of traffic signals: Work on this project continues. Estimated project completion is spring 2016.

Bradley County: U.S. 74 (SR-311, APD-40) construction of a new interchange between I-75 (Exit 20) and U.S. 11/64 (SR-2) at Stone Lake Extension in Cleveland: Work on this project continues. Traffic has been shifted onto the right shoulder on APD-40. The speed limit on SR-311 in the construction zone has been lowered to 45 MPH. Traffic needs to be aware of trucks entering and exiting on the southbound lanes of APD‑40. Flaggers will assist with traffic control as needed. Estimated project completion date is October 2016.
