Tennessee I-75 Construction Activities Thru May 25, 2016

The Tennessee Department of Transportation reports the following construction activities on Interstate 75 thru May 25, 2016:

ANDERSON COUNTY

I-75 North near Mile Marker 128: Motorists should be alert for two narrowed traffic lanes shifted to the left as crews perform bridge repairs to the outside lanes of the bridge over US 441 at Exit 128.  During this time, the exit ramp to US 441 (Exit 128) will be closed and motorists should use Exit 129 to access this area. This ramp closure will be in effect for approximately two weeks. Motorists should be alert for slowed or stopped traffic, expect potential long delays during peak travel times and use extreme caution through this area.

CAMPBELL COUNTY

I-75 North and South between Mile Markers 135 and 140: Motorists should be alert for lane shifts, narrowed lanes, closed shoulders and use caution as crews construct truck climbing lanes through this area. Through Saturday, May 21, 2016, motorists should be alert for possible nightly lane closures southbound between the hours of 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. the following morning as crews set portable barrier rails through this project.  Motorists should be alert for slowed or stopped traffic, expect potential delays and use extreme caution through this area.

CAMPBELL COUNTY

I-75 North and South near Mile Marker 141: On Thursday, May 19, 2016, motorists should be alert for a possible temporary lane closure nightly between the hours of 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. the following morning as crews perform concrete placement on the bridge deck. Motorists should be alert for slowed traffic, expect potential delays and use extreme caution through this bridge repair project.
