Traffic Delays, Lane Closures, Stopped Traffic on I-75 in Tennessee This Week

The Tennessee Department of Transportation reports the following lane and ramp closures on Interstate 75 this week:

ANDERSON COUNTY

  • I-75 South near Mile Marker 128: On Thursday, June 2, 2016, motorists should be alert for a possible lane closure between the hours of 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. the following morning. Beginning at 10 p.m. on Friday, June 3, 2016 through 6 a.m. Monday, June 6, 2016, I-75 South will be reduced to one lane in this area as crews perform lane shifts at the bridge at Exit 128 to begin bridge repairs. Motorists should be alert for slowed or stopped traffic, expect potential long delays during peak travel times and use extreme caution through this area.
  • I-75 North and South between Mile Markers 122 and 130: On Sunday, June 5, 2016 through Thursday, June 9, 2016, motorists should be alert for nightly lane closures between the hours of 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. the following morning through this resurfacing project. Motorists should be alert for workers present, expect potential delays and use extreme caution in this area.

CAMPBELL COUNTY

  • I-75 North and South between Mile Markers 135 and 140: Motorists should be alert for lane shifts, narrowed lanes, closed shoulders and use caution as crews construct truck climbing lanes through this area. Motorists should be alert for slowed or stopped traffic, expect potential delays and use extreme caution through this area.
  • I-75 North and South near Mile Marker 141: Motorists should be alert for workers present, slowed traffic, expect potential delays and use extreme caution through this bridge repair project.
