Continuing work on Ohio’s Interstate 75 resurfacing project between the Hamilton line and Tylersville Road in Butler County requires the following overnight restrictions next week.

On Tuesday, July 5, work will resume with a single-lane closure in place on I-75 South from 8:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. the following day. Double-lane closures will be in place from 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m., followed by triple-lane closures from 11:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. These lane closures on southbound I-75 will be in effect nightly through Friday, July 15.

In addition, a lane closure will be in effect on I-75 North each night from 8:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. the following day for milling work.

Traffic will be maintained through the work zone; however, motorists are advised of the need for additional caution, and all work will be contingent upon the weather.

The John R. Jurgensen Company was awarded the $8 million, and the project, which also includes pavement repair, is scheduled to be complete in late fall 2022.
