Lane Closures on I-75 in Tampa Bay Area Next Week

The Florida Department of Transportation reports the following traffic impacts on I-75 in the Tampa Bay area scheduled for next week.

  • Tampa – One lane may be closed and controlled by flagging operations on Sligh Avenue under the I-4/I-75 interchange area any time of the day Sunday through Saturday (February 11 – 17).
  • Brooksville – One lane may be closed in each direction of I-75 from south of SR 50 (Exit 301) to the Hernando/Sumter counties line between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m. Sunday through Thursday (February 11 – 15) nights.
  • Brooksville – One lane of US 98/SR 50 (Cortez Boulevard) may be closed from I-75 up to a half mile in each direction between 6:30 p.m. and 6 a.m. Sunday through Thursday (February 11 – 15) nights and from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday (February 12 – 16).
  • Brooksville, FL – One lane may be closed with flaggers directing traffic on Croom Rital Road under I-75 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday (February 12 – 16).

Lane, Ramp Closures, Detours for I-75 Construction in Tampa Bay Area Thru February 10

The Florida Department of Transportation reports the following I-75 construction and maintenance activities that will impact your travel in the Tampa bay area through Saturday, February 10, 2018:

  • Tampa – The westbound I-4 Exit 9 ramp onto northbound I-75 will be closed between 9:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. Tuesday and Wednesday (February 6 and 7) nights.
    DETOUR: Bear left at the ramp split to go south on I-75, use Exit 260 to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard/SR 574, turn left at the top of the ramp and go east on SR 574 over I-75, then turn left and enter northbound I-75.
  • Tampa – One to two lanes may be closed on northbound I-75 from I-4 (Exit 261) to the Tampa Bypass Canal (south of Fowler Avenue/Exit 265) between 9:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. Sunday through Wednesday (February 4 – 7) nights.
  • Tampa – One lane may be closed and controlled by flagging operations on Sligh Avenue under the I-4/I-75 interchange area any time of the day Sunday through Saturday (February 4 – 10).
  • Brooksville – One lane may be closed in each direction of I-75 from south of SR 50 (Exit 301) to the Hernando/Sumter counties line between 9:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. Sunday through Thursday (February 4 – 8) nights.

  • Brooksville – One lane may be closed in each direction of I-75 from south of SR 50 (Exit 301) to the Hernando/Sumter counties line between 9:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. Sunday through Thursday (January 28 – February 1) nights.
  • Brooksville – One lane of US 98/SR 50 (Cortez Boulevard) may be closed from I-75 up to a half mile in each direction between 6:30 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. Sunday through Thursday (January 28 – February 1) nights and from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday (January 29 – February 2).
  • Brooksville – One lane may be closed with flaggers directing traffic on Croom Rital Road under I-75 from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday (January 29 – February 2).

  • Wesley Chapel/San Antonio – One lane may be closed in each direction of I-75 from SR 52 (Exit 285) to one mile north between 9:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. Tuesday through Thursday (January 16 – 18) nights.
  • Brooksville – One lane may be closed in each direction of I-75 from south of SR 50 (Exit 301) to the Hernando/Sumter counties line between 9:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. Sunday through Thursday (January 14 – 18) nights.
  • Brooksville – One lane of SR 50 (Cortez Boulevard) may be closed from I-75 up to a half mile in each direction between 6:30 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. Sunday through Thursday (January 14 – 18) nights and from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday (January 15 – 19).
  • Brooksville – One lane may be closed with flaggers directing traffic on Croom Rital Road under I-75 from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday (January 15 – 19).

I-75 Lane Closures Scheduled After Holiday in Tampa Bay Area

The Florida Department of Transportation reminds travelers that no I-75 lane closures are scheduled on the interstate system in Hernando, Hillsborough, Pasco, and Pinellas counties during the holiday period through January 1, 2018.

The following closures are scheduled following the holiday:

  • Brooksville – One lane may be closed in each direction of I-75 from south of SR 50 (Exit 301) to the Hernando/Sumter counties line between 9:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. Tuesday through Thursday (January 2 – 4) nights.
  • Brooksville – One lane of SR 50 (Cortez Boulevard) may be closed from I-75 up to a half mile in each direction from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Tuesday through Friday (January 2 – 5) and between 6:30 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. Tuesday through Thursday (January 2 – 4) nights.
