The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists that the northbound entry ramp on I-75 at Exit 62 (Renfro Valley) in Rockcastle County will temporarily close Friday, October 23, as part of the ongoing U.S. 25/KY 461 improvement project.
The ramp is expected to reopen next Thursday, October 29.
The U.S. 25/KY 461 improvement project includes reconstructing several intersections along U.S. 25 from I-75 to KY 461, widening KY 461 from U.S. 25 to U.S. 150, and converting the I-75 interchange ramps to roundabouts, which will improve mobility and reduce congestion for traffic exiting to and from the interstate.
