The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) reports that the southbound I-75 ramp (Exit 254) to US 301 will temporarily close from 10:00 p.m. Thursday, May 29, to 5:00 a.m., Friday, May 30, weather permitting.

During this temporary ramp closure, southbound I-75 motorists needing to access US 301 will have to exit the interstate using Exit 256, continue south on the travel lanes, and proceed toward the US 301 ramps.

Electronic message boards and signage will assist motorists traveling through the area. Motorists should use caution while driving through the work zone and remain alert for construction workers.

This temporary ramp closure is necessary for ongoing concrete pavement repairs to I-75 from Progress Boulevard to Woodberry Road in Hillsborough County.
