I-75, I-69 Ramp Closures, Detours Underway in Genesee County

The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) reports that the Corunna Road ramp to southbound I-75 and the westbound I-69 ramp to northbound I-75 and Miller Road will be closed temporarily. These closures are due to much-needed culvert repairs.

I-75 Project Schedule

The repair work has begun, and should be completed by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, November 3, 2023. Every effort has been made to minimize inconvenience to everyone.

I-75 Traffic Changes

While the repairs are underway, there will be some changes to your regular route. The Corunna Road ramp to southbound I-75 will be closed from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily November 1. The westbound I-69 ramp to northbound I-75 and Miller Road will have similar daily closures between November 2 and November 3. In addition, there will be a right lane closure on both sides of I-75 near the ramps.

Your safety is a top concern. These closures provide a secure environment for our repair crews to get the job done. The work will improve drainage in the area, ensuring the stability of the freeway.

The Michigan DOT is committed to following environmental guidelines throughout the project. Repairing the culverts will help with better water management and protect our local environment.
