The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) advises motorists that the Sault Ste. Marie International Bridge (I-75) will be closed to vehicle traffic during the Sault International Festival of Races on Saturday, September 27. The bridge will close to vehicle traffic at 7:45 a.m. and will reopen at 9:45 a.m.
The 5-mile bridge run crosses the bridge as part of its course. This is the final planned public bridge event in 2025 that will require a temporary bridge closure.
