I-75 Lane, Ramp Closures, Detours for Work in Ohio Thru December 9

The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) reports the following traffic advisory for restrictions on I-75 in Hamilton County through the week ending December 9, 2023. All work will be contingent upon the weather.

I-75/Mill Creek Expressway Major Rehabilitation  – Major rehabilitation project at the I-74/75 interchange to widen and resurface I-75 between Paddock Road and the Western Hills Viaduct and reconfigure the interchange. Work also includes interchange improvements at Hopple Street, I-74, Mitchell Avenue, Norwood Lateral and Paddock Road. Various lane and shoulder restrictions may be in effect on the mainline and at affected ramps within the project zone during evening and overnight hours, including the following:  

Sunday, December 3:

  • Close the I-75 South ramp to I-74 West, to the southbound Beekman overpass, between 8:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. Saturday, December 2. The detour for I-75 South to I-74 West will use Exit 18 (northbound Beekman) to Colerain to I-74 West.

I-75 Thru the Valley Major Rehabilitation – Between Glendale-Milford Road and the Kemper Road overpass. Restrictions will also be in effect on the Sharon Road overpass for bridge work, and various lane and shoulder restrictions will be in effect on the mainline, as well as intermittent restrictions at the ramps, including the following: 

Wednesday, December 6:

  • Single-lane closure on I-75 North, from Sharon Road to I-275, between 8:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. Thursday.

Thursday, December 7:

  • Double-lane closures on I-75 North, between Sharon Road and I-275, from 11:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. Friday.
  • Closure of the ramp from Sharon Road to I-75 North between 10:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m. Friday.
  • Short-term (15 minute) full closure of I-75 North, between midnight and 4:00 a.m. Friday.
