I-75 Lane, Ramp Closures, Detours in Ohio August 8 Thru August 14

The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) reports that, as part of the Mill Creek Expressway widening project, the following restrictions will be in place through the weekend and next week. 

Friday – Monday, August 8-11:

  • Single-lane closure on I-75 South, between S.R. 126 and Paddock Road/Seymour Avenue, beginning at 8:00 p.m. Friday, followed by a double-lane closure at 11:00 p.m. for paving operations at the Mill Creek bridge. All restrictions will be lifted by 6:00 a.m. Monday, August 11.
  • Ramp closures beginning at 10:00 p.m. and continuing until 5:00 a.m. Monday at the following locations:
    • Closure of the ramp from eastbound S.R. 126 to I-75 South.
    • Closure of the ramp from westbound S.R. 126 to I-75 South.
    • Closure of the ramp from Galbraith Road to I-75 South.

Following the weekend paving work on I-75 South, the extended contraflow (CF) lane on southbound I-75, from S.R. 126 to the existing CF lane, should be open to traffic. 

Wednesday & Thursday
, August 13 & 14:

  • Single-lane (left lane) closures on I-75 South, between S.R. 126 and Paddock Road/Seymour Avenue, from 8:00 p.m. each night to 6:00 a.m. the following day.

As a reminder, the entrance ramp from Paddock Road to I-75 South will be closed for up to four weeks for utility relocation work.

Crews for Duke Energy will close the ramp Friday at approximately 9:00 a.m., and the closure will be in effect through early September. Motorists are encouraged to follow Paddock Road to S.R. 562/Norwood Lateral West to access I-75 south during this closure.
