I-75 Rest Area in Georgia Set to Close for Repairs Monday

The Georgia Department of Transportation reports that they will close the Interstate 75 southbound rest area #22 in Juliette, Monroe County, just north of the Interstate 75/Interstate 475 interchange, on Monday, Aug. 12, 2019 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The facility will be completely closed to the public for the entirety of the day. The closure is necessary for crews to repair underground sewer piping connected to the facility’s bathrooms.

Advisory: Motorists are advised to expect delays, exercise caution, and reduce their speed while traveling around work zones.
