The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) reports that with preparations under way for the Warren/Montgomery County I-75 Rehabilitation and Lane Addition project, overnight lane restrictions are set to begin next month.ย ย
Starting the week of July 6, contractors will begin pre-construction operations that will involve nightly lane closures on I-75 North between Lyons Road and Pennyroyal Road in order to prepare the shoulders for a traffic shift.ย ย
Once the shoulder work is completed, I-75 northbound traffic will shift to the exterior (right) lanes and shoulder allowing the contractor to begin installing barrier wall as well as temporary pavement on the inside that will be utilized by southbound traffic starting in Spring 2027.ย
The I-75 Rehabilitation & Lane Addition project overview will address a full rehabilitation of the current lanes along I-75 in both directions as well as the creation of an additional lane between I-675 and the existing fourth lane at Pennyroyal Road.
The project is expected to be completed in Fall 2029.
