High water north of Brent Spence Bridge on Ohio side has traffic backed up into Kentucky.
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of a traffic alert on a portion of I-75 north of the Brent Spence Bridge.
The highway is blocked approximately 0.7 miles north of the Brent Spence Bridge on I-75 in Ohio due to high water. Crews are responding. Dispatch confirms that motorists are able to use the Brent Spence Bridge to I-71 (Fort Washington Way) to avoid the closure; however, traffic is backing up on to I-71/75 in Kenton County.
Avoid the area and seek alternate routes.
No timeline has been provided for when the road will reopen.
