The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists that the left lane of I-75 southbound at mile point 25 in Whitley County will be closed during overnight hours on Monday and Tuesday nights, March 2–3, to allow crews to remove material from the median.
The lane closure will be in effect from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. each night, beginning Monday, March 2.
This temporary lane closure is necessary to safely perform construction operations in the median area.
Work is expected to conclude by 7:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 4. Motorists are advised to expect delays, use caution during this period and be aware of signage, road crews and other drivers.
The date, time, and duration of work may be adjusted if inclement weather or other unforeseen delays occur.
