The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) will close and detour northbound I-75 beginning at the south junction of I-75/I-475. This work is part of an overall $5.2 million investment to resurface 4.2 miles of I-75 from M-54 to US-23. Work includes joint repairs, shoulder corrugations and pavement markings.

Traffic restrictions:
Weather permitting crews expect to close northbound I-75 beginning at 12:01 a.m. Tuesday, July 25, for three consecutive days to complete paving. Northbound I-75 is expected to reopen at 6 a.m. Friday, July 28. Traffic will be detoured via northbound I-475 and westbound I-69.
