Ohio DOT Issues I-75/I-74 Major Construction Project Update

The Ohio Department of Transportation reports the following traffic impacts associated with I-75 construction and maintenance operations:

Hamilton County – The I-75/I-74 Major Reconstruction Project requires the following restrictions:

Friday, February 15 – Close the east I-74 ramp to north I-75 from 10:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m. Saturday, February 16. The detour uses south I-75 to Western Avenue/Liberty Street to Winchell Avenue back to north I-75. Emergency vehicle access will be maintained.

In addition, close the Hopple Street ramp to north I-75 from 10:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m. Saturday. Emergency vehicle access will be maintained.

Saturday, February 16 – Close the Hopple Street ramp to north I-75 from 10:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m. Sunday, February 17. Emergency vehicle access will be maintained.

Arrow boards and Portable Changeable Message Signs will alert motorists of the work zone and restrictions. All work is contingent upon the weather.

To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone. Remember, move over or slow down.
