The Ohio Department of Transportation reports the following traffic impacts associated with the I-75/Mill Creek Expressway Major Rehabilitation Project.
Major rehabilitation project at the I-74/75 interchange to widen and resurface I-75 between Paddock Road and the Western Hills Viaduct and reconfigure the interchange. Work also includes interchange improvements at Hopple Street, I-74, Mitchell Avenue, Norwood Lateral and Paddock Road. Various lane closures and restrictions will be in effect as needed, including the following:
Monday-Friday, October 10-14:
Single-lane closure on I-75 South beginning at 7:00 pm, along with closure of the lane from followed by a double-lane closure at 9:00 pm, with all restrictions lifted by 6:00 am the following day. Intermittent ramp closures at various interchanges within the project limits. Days and locations are yet to be determined; however, closures may in effect nightly from 10:00 pm to 5:00 am the following day.
I-75 Bridge (Ramp) Repair – At the ramp from I-75 North to I-275 West, which carries traffic over I-75. Intermittent lane restrictions and ramp closures may be in effect during evening and overnight hours. The project is scheduled to be completed in the fall of 2022.
