The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) reports that motorists traveling through the Cincinnati area this week will need to plan ahead for a full weekend closure on I-75 North at the Norwood Lateral, which will have a significant impact on traffic.
A pavement repair project is scheduled to begin on I-75 North this week, with the first of three full closures of the interstate this weekend.
Contractors will be installing a load transfer platform on I-75 North and correcting the pavement just north of the exit to S.R. 562/Norwood Lateral. I-75 North will be closed just past the S.R. 562 East ramp beginning at 10:00 p.m. Friday, September 27, and reopening at 3:00 a.m. Monday, September 30.
While the interstate is closed, thru traffic will be detoured via the Norwood Lateral, I-71 North and I-275 West. Full closures of I-75 North will also be in place during the weekends of October 4-7 and October 11-14.
