I-75/I-71 Long-Term Closures Now to Begin June 8 on Brent Spence Bridge Project

Kentucky I-75 Traffic | I-75 Exit Guide

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) reports that the schedule for the upcoming closures associated with the Brent Spence Bridge Corridor project has been adjusted to provide more time for utility coordination near the project site. The following traffic impacts previously scheduled to take place on Tuesday, May 26, are now expected to take place on/after Monday, June 8:

  • I-71/75 northbound off-ramp to 12th Street/MLK Jr. Blvd.
  • I-71/75 southbound on-ramp from 12th Street/MLK Jr. Blvd.
  • Bullock Avenue from Pike Street to the on-ramp for I-71/75 southbound at 12th Street
  • 12th Street between Simon Kenton Way and Bullock Avenue
  • Two-way conversion of Simon Kenton Way
