The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) reports that there will be temporary closures of the northbound I-75 ramp (Exit 254) to US 301 will close nightly from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m., on Wednesday, May 21 and Thursday, May 22, weather permitting.
Motorists needing to access US 301 from northbound I-75 will have to exit the interstate using Exit 256, continue toward the Selmon Expressway, and proceed west toward Exit 13 onto US 301.
Electronic message boards and signage will assist motorists traveling through the area. Motorists should use caution while driving through the work zone and remain alert for construction workers.
Additionally, I-75 drivers can expect single-lane closures and moving operations in the SR 56 diverging diamond interchange area at I-75 between 9:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 21 and 5:00 a.m. Thursday, May 22. The operations are scheduled on eastbound SR 56, the eastbound SR 56 entrance ramp onto southbound I-75, and the westbound SR 56 entrance ramp onto northbound I-75.
Watch for workers and slow-moving equipment.
