The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) reports the following construction projects are anticipated to affect I-75 this week and beyond. All work is weather permitting and subject to change.
Allen County
Interstate 75 in both directions between National Road in the village of Cridersville and 4th Street in the city of Lima will have periodic lane restrictions, 7:00 p.m. – 6:00 a.m., through August 23, for pavement crack sealing and micro-surfacing.
Interstate 75 southbound will be restricted to one lane through the work zone for guardrail and cable barrier repair at the following locations:
- Just south of State Route 117, east of the city of Lima, on Tuesday, August 18.
- Just south of Breese Road, south of the city of Lima, on Wednesday, August 19.
Hancock County
Interstate 75 in both directions from U.S. 68 and State Route 15 to U.S. 224, city of Findlay, will be restricted through the work zone for sealing of pavement cracks and micro-surfacing. Work will begin August 16 and occur daily during nighttime hours, 8:00 p.m. – 6:00 a.m. Work will occur for several weeks.
Interstate 75 ramp closures at the U.S. 68, State Route 15, Lima Avenue interchange for sealing of pavement cracks will occur at the following locations on the specified dates and times:
- Entrance ramp to I-75 southbound from U.S. 68 and State Route 15 westbound and Lima Avenue
- Closed August 21, 8:00 p.m., until August 22 at 6:00 a.m.
- Detour: I-75 Northbound to SR 12 back to I-75.
- Exit ramp from I-75 southbound to U.S. 68 and State Route 15 eastbound and Lima Avenue
- Closed August 21, 8:00 p.m., until August 22 at 6:00 a.m.
- Detour: I-75 Southbound, SR 235, to I-75 Northbound back to U.S. 68 and SR 15.
- Exit ramp from I-75 northbound to U.S. 68 southbound and State Route 15 eastbound and Lima Avenue
- Closed August 22 at 8:00 p.m. until August 23 at 6:00 a.m.
- Detour: I-75 Northbound, SR 12, back to I-75 Southbound
- Entrance ramp to I-75 northbound from U.S. 68 northbound and State Route 15 westbound and Lima Avenue
- Closed August 22 at 8:00 p.m. until August 23 at 6:00 a.m.
- Detour: I-75 Southbound, SR 235, back to I-75 Northbound
