The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) reports that a double-lane closure will be in effect on I-75 North and South as part of the Mill Creek Expressway widening project.
On Friday, October 10, a single-lane closure will go into effect first at 8:00 p.m., and this will be followed by a double-lane closure at 11:00 p.m., with all restrictions lifted by 7:00 a.m. Saturday, October 11. Once the double-lane closures are in place, all southbound traffic will be diverted to the contraflow lane, and northbound traffic will use the outside (far right) lane.Â
Along with the lane restrictions, I-75 will be subject to intermittent, short-term (15-minute duration) full closures at any time between midnight and 6:00 a.m. Saturday, and the entrance to I-75 South from eastbound S.R. 126/Ronald Reagan Cross County Highway will be closed during this time.
The restrictions will be in place while crews remove the pedestrian bridge that is situated over the interstate between Summit Road and City Centre Drive.
