The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) reports that traffic pattern changes are coming to I-75 in Dayton between U.S. 35 and SR 725 in the coming this weekend.

On Saturday, November 9, I-75 southbound will be reduced to a single lane starting at 8:00 a.m. through 4:00 p.m. Please note that the following ramps will be intermittently closed for entering or exiting I-75 southbound: Stewart Street, Edwin C. Moses Boulevard, Springboro Pike (SR 741) and Dryden Road.

The work at the SR 741 bridge has been completed ahead of schedule and required lane closures will eliminate the need for the lane shift between Edwin C. Moses Boulevard and Dryden Road. Southbound traffic will return to its original configuration south of Edwin C. Moses Boulevard.

Expected on the night of Sunday, November 10, I-75 northbound will be subject to lane closures between SR 725 and SR 741 as well as intermittent ramp closures at E. Dixie Drive, Dryden Road, Springboro Pike (SR 741), and Edwin C. Moses Boulevard  to allow the contractor to finish striping and placing raised pavement markers as well as eliminate the lane shift at the SR 741 bridge on the northbound side.

Both directions of traffic between Edwin C. Moses Boulevard and U.S. 35 will remain shifted to the outside to accommodate the need to complete the median wall repair. The repairs are expected to wrap up by the end of 2024. Once they are completed, both directions of I-75 will shift back into its original configuration. The entire project is projected to be finished during the summer of 2025.

These dates are expected, but all work is weather and temperature permitting.
