Georgia Department of Transportation crews will be opening the new exit 112 ramp onto Georgia 27 from Interstate 75 northbound in Dooly County today, Sunday, June 16, 2019. Workers will also be painting the pavement markings and installing overhead signage. This final work will be done in overnight shifts through Monday morning, June 17, 2019.

The right lanes and shoulders of both Interstate 75 northbound and southbound will be closed to traffic while the workers are at the site. Signage will be placed in advance of the work zone, and motorists are urged to be alert to the closures and to slow their speeds through the area.

Advisory: Motorists are advised to expect delays, exercise caution, and reduce their speed while traveling through and around work zones.
