The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) reports that due to unforeseen circumstances the ramp from southbound I-75 to Second Street was not closed last night; however, crews anticipate closing the ramp tonight, June 30, as preparations begin for the Brent Spence Bridge Corridor project.
Signage near the Western Hills Viaduct currently indicates the ramp is closed and directs traffic to the detour, while signs closer to the exit ramp are unchanged.
Crews will finish installing overhead signs and directions guiding drivers to the detour route after 8:00 p.m. tonight, ahead of the ramp closure at 11:00 p.m.
