The Michigan Department of Transportation reports the following travel advisory associated with the I-75 Rogue River Connection project in Detroit.

Southbound I-75 at Outer Drive is reopening this weekend, sometime after August 24, for drivers heading to Downriver communities and further south. The work is weather dependent and could be delayed depending on rain.

If good weather, southbound will reopen sometime this weekend at Outer Drive to head southbound; including ramps from Outer Drive, Southfield, Dix, Northline, Eureka and Telegraph connector will open for access to southbound I-75.

Southbound I-75 remains closed from I-96 to over Rogue bridge to Outer Drive with one lane available to Livernois for local traffic. The entire project with work on northbound and southbound is on schedule and expected to reopen in November 2018.
