The Ohio Department of Transportation reports that, in order to align northbound Interstate 75 to a partial phase of its original configuration, various lane and ramp closures will be in effect beginning Friday, October 20.

Various lane closures on northbound I-75 from Mitchell Avenue to State Route 562 beginning at 8:00 p.m. Friday, October 20 until 6:00 a.m. Saturday, October 21.

Also, the ramp from Mitchell Avenue to northbound I-75 will be closed from midnight Friday until 4:00 a.m. Saturday.

In addition, the ramp from northbound I-75 to eastbound SR 562 will be closed from 11:00 p.m. Friday until 5:00 a.m. Saturday.

Once the shift is complete Saturday morning, three lanes of northbound I-75 will be maintained and open to traffic; one lane will remain closed through November to complete work on the soundwall.

Arrow boards and/or signs will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming work zone and restrictions.

To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
