Buc-ee’s, home of the world’s cleanest bathrooms, freshest food and friendliest beaver, is heading north. The state of Ohio will soon be home to a new Buc-ee’s, the mega convenience store. While it’s not directly off an Interstate 75 exit, it’s really close.

The mayor of Huber Heights, Jeff Gore said the first Buc-ee’s in the state is moving into his city. Plans include 120 fueling stations, 698 parking spots, 24 Tesla spots, 11 bus/RV parking spaces on a more than 52-acre parcel. The building will be 74,000 square feet. While it’s not the largest Buc-ee’s in the country, it’s still one impressive sized convenience store.

According to a social media post from the Huber Heights Mayor, “The rumors you have heard are TRUE! The very first BUC-EE’S in the state of Ohio is coming to Huber Heights… Yes this is in Huber Heights, not New Carlisle or Park Layne. Representatives from Buc-ee’s will be at the planning commission meeting on Tuesday Aug. 15. You won’t have to drive to Kentucky now to get your beef jerky and brisket sandwiches! Welcome to Huber Heights Buc-ee’s We’re happy to have you!!”

Where exactly is Huber Heights, Ohio? Well it just northeast of Dayton. Buc-ee’s will be located at the intersection of Interstate 70 and OH 235 (that’s I-70, exit 235 for all you road warriors). Not far from I-75 at all. In fact, only about 7 miles, or 6 minutes. Here’s a map…

Buc-ee’s representatives will attend an “informal review” during an August 15 planning commission meeting, at which time the company will receive feedback from commission members.

The company will likely submit a full application by August 25th.
