The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) reports that the reconstruction of I-75 between Needmore Road and Leo Street continues to progress, and next week traffic changes will go into effect as we move into the next phase of work.

Starting at 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 10 crews will begin preparing for the two travel lanes of I-75 North to shift to the exterior (right) side of the roadway.

During the overnight, traffic will be maintained via the contraflow and the ramps from SR 4 and SR 48/Main Street will be temporarily closed.

The entrance and exit ramps along I-75 North at Wagner Ford Road, Stanley Avenue, and Needmore Road will not be accessible during this time to allow crews to complete the shift.

The travel lanes will reopen during the early hours of Friday, September 11. At that time, the entrance and exit ramps for Stanley Avenue on I-75 North will reopen.

Tentatively planned for the night of Sunday, September 13, crews will permanently close the contraflow and I-75 North will return to three lanes on the proper side.

Both directions will remain pushed to the exterior (right) side of the roadway while crews work on the median wall and drains.

This traffic pattern is expected to be in place until early November 2026.

This work is weather dependent.
