Most I-75 Construction in Tampa Bay Area Suspended With Some Exceptions Thru January 2

The Florida Department of Transportation reports that there are no I-75 closures in the Tampa Bay area over the New Year’s holiday, except for the following:

– Wesley Chapel/San Antonio: One lane may be closed in each direction of I-75 anywhere from north of County Road 54 (Exit 279) to north of SR 52 (Exit 285) between 9:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. Monday through Wednesday (December 28 – 30) nights.

– Pasco County: One lane may be closed in each direction of I-75 from north of State Road 52 (Exit 285) to the Hernando County line (north of County Road 41/Exit 293) between 9:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. Monday and Tuesday (December 28 and 29) nights.

– Tampa/St. Petersburg: No closures are scheduled on the interstate system in Hernando, Hillsborough, Pasco, and Pinellas counties during the holiday period from Thursday morning, December 31 through Sunday afternoon, January 3. Lane closures will resume on some projects Sunday night, January 3.
