The Tennessee Department of Transportation reports the following I-75 construction activities for Thursday, November 3 thru Wednesday, November 9, 2016

  • CAMPBELL COUNTY, I-75 construction North and South between Mile Markers 135 and 140: Motorists should be alert for possible temporary lane closures between the hours of 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. the following morning through this project. Motorists should be alert for lane shifts, narrowed lanes, closed shoulders and use caution as crews construct truck climbing lanes through this area. Motorists should be alert for slowed or stopped traffic, expect potential delays and use extreme caution through this area.
  • CAMPBELL COUNTY, I-75 construction North and South near Mile Marker 141: Motorists should be alert for possible lane closures nightly, expect potential delays and use extreme caution through this bridge repair project.
  • CAMPBELL COUNTY, I-75 construction North and South between Mile Markers 145 and 148: Motorists should be alert for possible temporary lane closures between the hours of 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. the following morning through this project. Motorists should be alert for lane shifts, narrowed lanes, closed shoulders and use caution as crews construct truck climbing lanes through this area. Motorists should be alert for slowed or stopped traffic, expect potential delays and use extreme caution through this area.
  • KNOX COUNTY, I-75/ I-275 South Ramp to I-640 East: The ramp from I-75/ I-275 South to I-640 East is closed as crews perform interchange improvements. Motorists wishing to access I-640 East in this area should follow signed detour route to I-40 East. This ramp will remain closed around the clock and is estimated to re-open on or before November 4, 2016. Motorists should be alert for this changed condition and use extreme caution in this area.
