The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) reports that a high-load bridge hit on I-75 requires lane closures to repair the London Avenue bridge over Southbound I-75, south of Dix Highway, in Lincoln Park.
The bridge repair will be done over 8 weekends during which traffic will have only ONE LANE OPEN. Drivers can expect major delays on Southbound I-75.
Beginning next weekend, Saturday 9/20 – Sunday 9/21, from 6:00 am – 9:00 pm daily, Southbound I-75 from M-39/Southfield to south of Dix Highway will have ONE LANE OPEN. Also, the Southbound Dix Highway ramp to Southbound I-75 will be closed.
MDOT urges motorists to drive carefully through this and all construction zones.
