The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) is scheduled to conduct lane closures on the northbound I-75, located south of Dixie Highway in Bridgeport, Saginaw County, on the evening of December 17, 2025.
These closures, in effect from 8:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., include intermittent rolling closures necessary to facilitate sign work as part of a substantial $5.3 million infrastructure enhancement initiative.
This project aims to upgrade signage, overhead sign structures, guardrails, and delineators along I-75, spanning from the Genesee County line to the Bay County line and from the southern Saginaw County line to the M-13 connector. The enhancements will contribute significantly to roadway safety by incorporating modernized signage and improved protective road features. These lane and shoulder closures are critical to ensuring a secure working environment for the crews and ensuring motorists’ safety.
