Multiple I-75 Closures, Detours in Ohio Thru October 24 and Beyond

The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) reports that the following restrictions will be in place this week on the I-75 corridor as part of the Mill Creek Expressway widening project. All work is weather dependent and subject to change.

Thursday, October 23:

  • Single-lane closure on I-75 North beginning at 8:00 p.m., followed by a double-lane closure at 11:00 p.m. All restrictions will be lifted by 6:00 a.m. Friday.
  • Single-lane closure (contraflow lane) on I-75 South, from 8:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. Friday.
  • Closure of the ramp from I-75 North to Paddock Road at 10:00 p.m. The closure will be in place for 60 days (through late December 2025), and while it is closed, motorists will be detoured by way of S.R. 562/Norwood Lateral to Paddock Road. 

Friday, October 24:

  • Single-lane closure on I-75 North and South, beginning at 8:00 p.m., followed by a double-lane closures at 11:00 p.m. All restrictions will be lifted by 6:00 a.m. Saturday.
  • Intermittent, short duration (15-minute) closures on I-75 North and South, between S.R. 126 and S.R. 562, from midnight to 4:00 a.m. Saturday. 
  • Closure of the ramp from eastbound S.R. 126 to I-75 South, from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. Saturday.

All work is weather dependent.
