The Ohio Department of Transportation reports that operations for a pavement microsurfacing project on Interstate 75 between Tylersville Road and the state Route 129 interchange are set to begin in August, and overnight lane and ramp restrictions will be in effect throughout construction.

Beginning at 8:00 p.m. Monday, August 9, single-lane closures will be in place on I-75 North and South between Tylersville Road and S.R. 129 until 6:00 a.m. the following day. Double-lane closures will be in place from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m., followed by triple-lane closures from midnight to 5 a.m. Lane restrictions will be in effect nightly through August of this year.

Throughout construction, various ramp closures will be utilized on I-75 North and South at Tylersville Road, Liberty Way and S.R. 129. Ramp closures will be between 10:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m. the following day, and closure dates will be determined and announced as progress proceeds on mainline I-75.

Traffic will be maintained through the work zone; however, motorists are advised of the need for additional caution.

American Pavements, Inc., was awarded the $1 million project, which also includes pavement repair, and all work is scheduled to be complete in late fall 2021.
