Last week while traveling up I-75, I decided to skip the usual fast-food chains and pulled off the Luna Pier exit (I-75, exit 6) looking for something different. I found Gander’s Family Restaurant (across from the Sunoco station) and decided to give it a try.
This cozy, classic small-town diner has a welcoming atmosphere, and the friendly staff who treated me like a local the second I walked in. I ordered the classic breakfast with biscuits and gravy, and it totally hit the spot. The portions were huge, the food came out hot and fast, and the hot coffee just kept flowing… all for a great price!
If you’re traveling through Michigan on I-75 and want a delicious, home-style meal without a long delay, do yourself a favor and check out Ganderโs. Iโll definitely be making this a regular stop on my future drives!
