The following Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) construction projects are expected to affect I-75 travel in Allen County. All work is weather dependent and subject to change.
I-75 Lane Restrictions and Ramp Closures
Nighttime Ramp Closures (6:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.)
July 17: SR 65 to I-75 Northbound Ramp Closure
Detour: Motorists should travel south on I-75 to Breese Road, then return north on I-75 to continue their trip.
July 19: I-75 Southbound Exit to SR 65 Closure
Detour: Continue south on I-75 to Breese Road, enter I-75 northbound, then exit at SR 65.
I-75/Breese Road Ramp Closures
The I-75 exit ramps to Breese Road in both directions will be closed on Thursday, July 23, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. to allow for roadway repairs. During the closure, the Allen County Engineer’s Office will conduct a chip seal operation on Breese Road.
I-75 Lane Restrictions
Motorists traveling on I-75 between National Road and 4th Street (mile markers 118–125) should expect nighttime lane restrictions from 8:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m. while crews perform moving pavement-marking operations.
Drivers are encouraged to plan ahead, allow additional travel time, and use posted detour routes where applicable.
