I-75 Construction in Florida and Thanksgiving Work Suspensions

I-75 Northern Florida Road Construction | I-75 Exit Guide

The Florida Department of Transportation reports the following I-75 construction activities in Alachua and Columbia counties, including temporary suspension of work during the Thanksgiving holiday.

  • Nighttime double lane closures from south of State Road 121 to just south of State Road 222 from 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. Sunday through Tuesday for paving operations.

All work is suspended Wednesday, November 22, through Sunday, November 26, in anticipation of the large volume of traffic over the Thanksgiving holiday. Work will resume Monday, November 27.

  • Daytime lane closure at mile marker 416.5 Tuesday November 21 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
