The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) reports that a high-friction surface treatment is being added to I-75 in order to provide more traction for vehicle navigation during inclement weather.
Beginning Saturday, 6/13/26, 7:00 am – 7:00 pm:
- Northbound I-75 exit 81 ramp to M-24 (Lapeer Road) is CLOSING.
Drivers will need to use alternate routes during this closure.
Please drice slowly and safely through construction work zones.
